Frequently Asked Questions

What are the age/grade requirements for our programs?

Please contact us for specific age requirements for each program.

What are the the prices and start/end dates of our programs?

The prices for our programs are always changing, we occasionally feature different promotional prices to reward parents and students for enrolling with us at an earlier date. Not only do these early enrollments benefit the parents and students, it also helps our company plan ahead and be able to better provide for your child's educational needs. The dates of our Fall/Spring Afterschool Program are usually from the first day of school until the last day of school. As for our Summer Enrichment Program, we follow an 8 week program (though the parents can sign up for 7 weeks), and changes each summer. For the Summer Enrichment 2016 Program, the 7 week session will start on July 05, 2016 until August 19, 2016 (8 weeks is until August 26, 2016). For more accurate prices and dates, please contact us by phone or by email.

What are your curriculums like?

For our Afterschool program, we mainly focus on guiding the students in completing their homeworks. We also have additional practice worksheets that are similar to the common core curriculum that the students are learning in day school.

For our Summer Enrichment Program, we create our own workbooks using several common core materials. 8 weeks is a relatively short amount of time for students to learn all materials from the upcoming year, so our objective is to spend a week or 2 on review materials to solidify their foundations and move on to exposure materials that they will be learning in the upcoming school year. This way, the students will be able to retain their knowledge from the previous year, while obtaining knowledge and are better prepared for the materials to come.

There are weekly extracurricular activities at P.S.124 & P.S.130, these activities, however, comes at an extra cost. For more information about the extracurricular activities, please contact us by phone or by email.

Are there any class trips?

Not for the Afterschool Program.

For our Summer Enrichment Program, we usually plan ~ 2 class trips. We try to not plan a lot of trips since it is the summer and can be exhausting on the students. One of the trips (the past two years) have been a class trip to the movies. The 2nd class trip that we've had were to educational museum/sites such as the liberty science center. However, trips may or may not get cancelled due to the weather and other conditions.
